A secondary school in Western Tokyo is looking for subject teachers starting in the 2026 academic year (April) to expand their international course.

[Secondary School Subject Teacher in Western Tokyo (April 2026)]
Contract Period: April 1 2026 - March 31, 2027
Location: Western Tokyo
Annual Salary: 4,500,000yen - 9,000,000yen (before tax) + transportation
Subject: ESL, ELA, Social Studies, Math, Science
Working Days: 5 days week (within Mon to Sat)
Working Hours: 8:10-17:20/8:10-18:10/8:30-16:30　(Annual variable work system)
Lessons: Up to 20 regular lessons a week
Insurances: Private School Insurance and Employment Insurance
Days off: Sunday and one weekday
Holidays: Summer vacation (about 1 week to 10 days), Christmas Day, New Year's Holiday, 10 days of Paid Leave

[Contract included the following duties]
* Lesson preparation and teaching
* Material and curriculum development
* Making and grading regular and entrance exams
* Proctoring of exams
* After school club
* Attending meetings, school events, and school ceremonies including religious events
* Teaching supplementary lessons
* Preparation for overseas study program
* Homeroom
* Teacher Training
* Other duties related to school education

[Qualification Requirements]
* Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably a major related to the subject in which you will be teaching)
* Minimum 3 years of RELEVANT teaching experience at secondary school
* Having a teacher's license in your home country is strongly preferred
* Capable of working with the school's curriculum
* Knowledgeable about the subject assigned to teach
* Acceptance of a Christian work environment
* Conversational Japanese ability is a plus
* Must currently reside in Japan and have a proper visa
