Teacher Of English As A Foreign Language（到期)

Full-time position teaching English as a foreign language to students ages 5 to adult, starting in May 2025. 24 teaching hours per week. Minimum one year contract. Renewable contract. A typical day consists of two to three children's classes and two or three adult classes. Children classes are up to six students, adults', up to four. Duties include daily preparation of lesson plans based on the school's curriculum. Furnished apartment within walking distance included at a cost of 60,000 yen(~US$450)/month. Paid vacation. Health insurance. Salary is competitive at 290,000 yen. We are interested in candidates with some experience in the ESL/EFL field who hold university degrees in English, Linguistics, a Foreign Language, Education or any other related field. Candidates must be genuinely interested in teaching children, including young children. They must have outstanding oral and communications skills, possess adequate knowledge of English grammar and be excellent conversationalists.
