Nursery/Pre-K Homeroom Teacher in Central Tokyo

GG International School is currently looking for an experienced nursery / pre-k teacher to start as soon as possible. We also have a bus attendant position available for those looking for extra hours.

GG International School is a school located in the heart of Tokyo in the Meguro-Shinagawa and Shibuya area. We offer full-day preschool and kindergarten programs, as well as an afterschool program. The school’s curriculum is based on an art to science progression and offers teachers considerable control over their classrooms. All programs are designed to encourage an emerging sense of self, while nurturing intellectual growth, exploration, and socialization in a safe, supportive environment for children ages six months to 12 years.

【Conditions】
Contract Period: As soon as possible
Contract Type: Fixed becoming non-fixed after 6 to 12 months
Location: Either at the Togoshi or Musashi-Koyama Campus
Working Days: 5 days/week (days off Saturday/Sunday and other national holidays)
*Due to school events, teachers may need to work a few Saturdays per year. Depends on the year and on the department.

Regular Working Hours:
Nursery/Kindergarten 8:00 - 17:00, 9:00 - 18:00
Home Bus Attendant 18:00 - 19:00
Teaching Hours: 3-5 hours/day

Salary or Monthly Compensation:
【Pre-K Homeroom Teacher position】
240,000-300,000 (Before tax)
* Negotiable and will be decided based on the candidate’s education/experience
* Annual Bonus/Raise available

* Visa sponsorship available

290,000 (3rd year teacher as a homeroom teacher and bus attendant duty)

【Pre-K Homeroom Teacher position】
Requirements:
・2+ years of experience teaching young learners between 0 and 4 years old
・Native or fluent English speaker
・Team-teach all subjects using in-house art and science centered curriculum
・Prepare lessons and materials, maintain classroom
・Effective communication with parents and co-workers
・Work well independently and as a team
・Homeroom teacher experience such as parent communication, PTCs, event coordination is required for a homeroom teacher position
