International Language House is currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic full-time English teachers to work directly with our partner schools across the Kanto region. While this is not a position within ILH, we are looking for qualified educators to introduce and place with schools seeking Early Childhood English teachers.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys creating a fun and engaging learning environment, and can collaborate well with Japanese staff and fellow educators.
Job Description
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8hrs plus 1hr break, subject to change depending on the client)
Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays (except during school events)
Salary: Starting at ¥250,000 per month, with potential for increase after the probation period
Requirements
-Native English speaker
-Experience working with children
-Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement for visa sponsorship)
-Qualification in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
-Currently residing in the Kanto area (Tokyo, Kanagawa, or Chiba)
Responsibilities
-Teach English to children aged 3 to 5
-Lead engaging and music-based lessons
-Plan and prepare lesson content; contribute to curriculum development
-Collaborate with fellow teachers in a team-oriented environment
-Perform basic childcare tasks
-Set and achieve English learning goals based on client expectations
