Iware Co., Ltd (株式会社 アイウエア) is looking for experienced, skilled, and certified English teachers who can teach Chemistry (Ability to teach Chemistry and Mathematics for Cambridge International AS & A Levels) to join our team from April 2025.

The teacher will be assigned to a private junior and senior high school in Hachioji, Tokyo, which has strongly been promoting international education.

The private school requires top-notch English teachers with relative experience, skills, certification, and a good personality. The teacher's ability will not solely be judged by what is on the resume; other evaluated criteria include teaching methods, student motivation techniques, and creating an environment conducive to student learning (teacher's personality, class layout, etc.).

[Subjects] Chemistry (Cambridge International School curriculum)*
*If you can teach Mathematics as well, we might offer you a combined position with Mathematics.
[Classes] Chemistry: Sr.1 and Sr.2 AS & A Levels Chemistry and *Mathematics(If Mathematics teaching is included)
[Teaching style] Solo
[Number of students per class] 5~20 students/class
[Number of classes] Up to 10 classes/ week
[Requested schedule by client] 2 days /week
*Days are negotiable
*If you can teach Mathematics as well, we might offer you a combined position with Mathematics. In that case, the working days will be 4 days a week .
[Working hours] From 8:30 am to 5:30 pm or until 15 minutes after the end of your last class
[Contract type] Dispatch contract
[Salary] 100,000～120,000 JPY (before tax) /per month transportation fee
*It would be the same amount even in winter vacation

[Requirements]
1) Much experience in teaching JHS ＆ SHS students in Japan
2) Applicants need to be already in Japan and are able to relocate to the Kanto area
3) Ability to teach Chemistry or Mathematics for Cambridge International AS & A Levels
[Preferable]
1) Teaching license in foreign countries
2) Teaching experience of more than 10 years in Japan
3) Flexibility and good communication and interpersonal skills are preferred.
4) High-level Japanese proficiency
