Sanrio English Studio \We Act!

WeAct! was created to help children develop the skills they need to shape their own futures in an unpredictable world. Through engaging and fun lessons in English, WeAct! nurtures children's ability to envision and create their own paths. It’s a place where education and entertainment professionals come together to unlock and refine children's talents, empowering them for the future.

WeAct! is a new English conversation school created by Sanrio and Yaruki Switch Group, a leading education company in Japan. It combines education and entertainment ("edutainment") to provide an immersive learning experience in a movie production-like environment. Using the Yaruki Switch Group's teaching method and Sanrio's English Master program, WeAct! helps children naturally develop English communication skills and the ability to shape their own future in a fun and engaging setting.

■Duties & Responsibilities
⋆Conduct lessons following a unique curriculum:
・Each lesson: approximately 30 minutes
・Use PowerPoint tools to deliver group lessons online (up to 6 students)
・Act as a "performance/English coach" for students in English plays they create
⋆Prepare lesson evaluations:
・Check progress during "assessment" sessions
・Provide reports for parents on student language progress and class performance

■Working Hours
⋆Monday to Friday: 1:20 PM – 8:45 PM
⋆Saturday: 10:20 AM – 5:45 PM
※Shift system (shift may be decided the prior month).
※At least 2 working days per week are required for the part-time position.

■Salary
⋆Hourly ¥1,200 / per 40-minute lesson (includes 5 minutes of preparation before and after the lesson)

■Qualifications/Requirements:
⋆Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university
⋆At least 1 year of experience teaching English to young children

■Preferred Personality:
⋆Bright and enthusiastic, able to engage and entertain children
⋆Curious and eager to learn
⋆Passionate about working with children and contributing to society
⋆Customer-service oriented

■Language Skills:
⋆English: Native level
⋆Japanese: Conversational level
