AICJ Junior and Senior High School is a privately-funded IB World School accommodating approximately 800 students. In junior high school, we teach a tailor-made curriculum with a number of the courses in grades 7-9 taught in English in an immersion environment. Math, music, science, physical education, and English are taught by both foreign and Japanese teachers in junior high school. In high school, we operate a dual-pathway system whereby students select either the domestic course to prepare for entry into Japanese universities or the internationally recognized IB Diploma Programme. Typically, students who aspire to attend overseas universities select the IB Diploma course. The school is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated teacher of math to teach in the junior high school. Some senior high math lessons on the IB Diploma may also be part of the teaching schedule depending on experience. Currently, 20 non-Japanese staff are employed at AICJ teaching across the junior and senior high school.
