Position:
 English Instructor

Contract Type:
 Full-time, one-year contract (renewable based on performance)

 Work Hours:
Current: 12:10-21:10 (Saturdays 11:10-20:10)
From March 2025: Weekdays 12:30-21:30, Saturdays 11:10-20:10

Work Location:
 Saitama (Warabi, Koshigaya, Sengendai, Kasukabe, Kuki, Kumagaya)
Within 1 hour train trip from Tokyo (except for Kumagaya).

Classroom Structure:
English Club offers three different course types to students:
1. Private Lessons - 40 or 60 minutes. One-on-one lessons with teacher and student.
2. Group Lessons - 40 minutes. Limited to a maximum of 8 students.
3. Semi-Private Lessons - 40 minutes. Small groups of 2-3 students.
4. Pair Teaching Lessons - 40 minutes (Foreign teacher) + 40 minutes (Japanese teacher).
Limited to a maximum of 10 students.

Salary Payment:
 ¥265,000 per month (￥260,000 of Basic Salary & ￥5,000 of Job Allowance)

Benefits:
 Initial four-week comprehensive training (paid) with additional monthly training sessions and lesson quality checks to develop teaching techniques

 Transportation costs covered up to ¥30,000 per month for full-time teachers

 Vacations and Holidays:
o Two days off per week (Sunday and one weekday)

 Golden Week (approximately 7 days)
 Summer Vacation (approximately 7 days)
 Winter Vacation (approximately 5 days)
 Leave as stipulated in Japanese Labor Standards Law(5 sick days a year)
Requirements and Job Responsibilities

Prospective Applicant Requirements:
 Native-level English speaker
 Friendly, flexible, and constructive
 Enthusiastic, professional, and willing to learn
 Enjoy working with both children and adult students
 Eager to improve teaching skills
 Ability to work well in a team
 Teaching experience is favorable but not required
 Willing to adjust to Japanese office environment and the company’s policy.

Responsibilities:
 Work five days per week (up to 40 hours per week)
 Prepare lessons based on class curriculum
 Prepare progress reports for students
 Other office work requested by the School.
