Full-Time Teacher at a prestigious elementary school in Fukuoka (Direct hire)　2025 Spring（到期)

A private girls' elementary school in Fukuoka seeks a full-time homeroom teacher with a valid teaching certificate of country of origin which allows the holder to teach G1-6. This is ideal for an experienced teacher, proficient in math and science for elementary school.

This position is for the next school year, to start in April 2025. A new teacher is to be hired directly by the school on a one-year contract basis. Upon one’s performance and mutual agreement, the contract could be renewed in the following years.

One of their courses has been implementing English immersion, following the Japanese governmental course guideline of MEXT. The duty of a new teacher includes to be a co-homeroom teacher with a Japanese teacher, apart from solo teaching classes of English, math, science, ethic, and home economics. The other course has some English classes taught by English teachers supported by Japanese teachers. This is not an ALT position.

lessons preparation
class management
test, marking, and assessment
curriculum development with Japanese teachers
event support
extracurricular activities

Salary:
determined based on educational background and experience
-approximately 4,000,000 yen to 4,800,000 yen annually including two bonus

Working hour: 8:00 ~ 16:40

Day off: Saturdays, Sunday, and national holidays/ school holidays
-five-day extra holidays for going back home country

Social insurance:
pension premium, health insurance, employment insurance, and industrial accident insurance

Commuting allowance:
reimbursed at maximum 45,000 yen per month.
-Car commuting is possible.

Housing allowance:
available at maximum of 27,000 yen
-required to submit necessary document for the allowance

Requirement:
current resident in Japan
valid teaching certificate of country of origin
teaching experience at an elementary school for 3 years, ideally
