Job Description]
We are looking for new people with a love for video games to join our Localization team!
As a localization tester, your job will be to look over localized versions of the latest games from indie to AAA developers, looking for any potential linguistic or technical issues from a user’s perspective.
Depending on your linguistic skill and experience in translation/localization in the entertainment business (anime, manga, games, etc.), there may be opportunities to work at our client’s facilities, getting firsthand experience working closely with the developers of some of your favorite games.
[Requirements]
-Native Speaker of Hindi
-Strong creative writing skills in your native language
-Strong command of the Japanese language (JLPT N1 or N2 preferred)
-English communication skills
-Interest in Japanese media (video games, anime, manga etc.)
-Basic PC skills (Microsoft suite)
-Residence in the Kanto region
-Valid working visa in Japan
-Interest in Japanese culture
[Preferred Skills]
-Effective business communication skills in English/Japanese (i.e. emails)
-Experience with translation tools such as Trados, MemoQ, WordFast, etc.
-Minimum 1 year translation experience in the entertainment industry
-Experience dealing with clients in Japanese
-N1 or N2 equivalent writing and reading skills in Japanese

-Weekdays 10:00~19:00 (Flextime)
