The Yokohama Board of Education is recruiting instructors to work in its elementary school
International Understanding Program. The aim of this program is for the students to learn
about the instructors' country and culture. These classes are done in English.
Requirements / Qualifications
（１）Age: Between 22 and 64 years, as of April 1st, 2019
（２）Nationality: Open to all nationalities, and holdings an appropriate visa
（３）Education: University degree, or equivalent
（４）Language skills: Conversational Japanese and English
(5) Must have an interest in education and be able to work with children.
Terms and Conditions
(1) Hours： 3 or 4 hours per day, 2 days a week (morning hours)
(2) Location： Yokohama public elementary schools
(3) Pay： 3,150 yen/hour（this is wage & transport fund）※may change
Period of Employment
From April 1st, 2019 to March 31st, 2020
