Description

One of Japan’s leading English schools is looking for English teachers with experience and a desire to enrich lives.

■ABOUT ENGLISH VILLAGE
English Village is a very popular English conversation school in the Kanto region with approximately 10,000 students and 100 teachers in 12 schools located in Tokyo, Yokohama, and Chiba. English Village was founded 31 years ago by an English teacher enthusiastic to create a unique school by focusing on:

1. Students as Individuals: We have a wide variety of students from all walks of life (many of whom are long-time students) including business executives, doctors, lawyers, housewives, retired people. Some of our schools even teach the occasional primary school student (it’s rare; our focus is adults).
2. Caring and Passionate English Teachers: Our teachers care about each and every student and take genuine joy in helping these students.
3. Great People: From the beginning, the school’s objective was to provide the ultimate learning environment for our students and the best place to work for our teachers and our staff members. Many of the students have been with English Village for many years; students form meaningful bonds with the teachers. Also, the management and most of the staff members have lived or studied abroad so the culture of the school is very open and international.

English Village is a growing company which has recently merged with a school called Getgo, but our emphasis on caring for people remains as strong as it was 30 years ago.
