Substitute teacher at a private elementary school in Osaka city (4 days/wk) (expired)

A private elementary school in Osaka implementing an English immersion program seeks a part-time teacher who can teach ELA, art, and music in English for 19 lessons (max 25 lessons) per week. This is an international school following Japanese governmental course guidelines as well as that of Korean. This position is to substitute for a current teacher who takes her maternity leave this summer.

Duty:
14 lessons of English (solo teaching)
4 lessons of art (team teaching with a Japanese teacher)
1 lesson of music (team teaching with a Japanese teacher)
*minimum: 19 lessons a week in total
*up to 25 lessons including extracurricular activities, two lessons a day in the afternoon

Working hour:
Tuesday 8:40~14: 40　(or ~17:20)
Wednesday 8:40~14:40 (or ~17:20)
Friday 8:40~14:20 (or ~17:20)
Saturday 8:40~11:30 (first and third Saturday only)

Starting date: late August or September 2021
Salary: Salary is determined in accordance with school policy and with the number of lessons to teach.
*approximately 280,000 yen per month

Requirement:
experience in teaching at an elementary school in Japan
all the required documents should be ready before the interview
*special teaching license of Osaka prefecture will be applied through school for solo teaching class for which, the documents are required immediately.
current resident in Japan
dedicated, hard-working, flexible, resilient, easy-going
