Iware Co., Ltd (株式会社 アイウエア) is urgently looking for experienced, skilled,
and certified English teachers who have a Christian background to join our team
for 2022-23 school year.

The teachers will be assigned to an esteemed private Coed school in Kanagawa
Yokohama city. Would you like to be one of their members?

The private school requires topnotch English teachers with relative experience,
skills, certification, and a good personality. The teacher's ability will not solely
be judged by what is on the resume; other evaluated criteria are teaching
methods, student motivation techniques, creating an environment conducive
to student learning (teacher's personality, class layout, etc.), and so on.

[Place] Kanagawa, Yokohama city
[Type of school] Private Coed schools (Kindergarten, Elementary, JHS and SHS)
[Length of one class] 45 min /class for Elementary school and 50min/class for JHS and SHS
[Classes] 1st to 6th grade of Elementary, and Jr.1st and Jr. 2nd as well as 1st, 2nd, 3rd year of kindergarten and Sr.2nd and Sr.3rd
[Teaching style] solo
[Number of students per class] 20~30 students/class
[Number of classes] 16 or 17 classes/ week
[Requested schedule by client] 5 days /week (Mon・Tue・Wed・Thu・Fri)
[Contract type] Direct hired contract
[Salary] 3,000,000 JPY /per year+ transportation fee
*in addition to the monthly salary, you will be paid a bonus 1 or 2 times per year.
[Dormitory]You can live in the dormitory of the school for free.

[Duties]
1. To attend to the teaching of an English speaking and writing course and related duties
2. To support the extracurricular held in the morning and late afternoon
3. To research lesson materials and do the duties of an assistant class teacher
4. To produce and administer tests and keep records of assessment
5. To produce supplementary lesson materials, tests, and essay correction
6. To participate in school events held on Saturday or Sunday (A few times per year) and English Club
7. To support the overseas training
8. To attend to any duties related to the above points

[Requirements]
1) Much experience in teaching JHS ＆ SHS students in Japan
2) TEFL, CELTA or TESOL
3) Applicants need to be already in Japan and are able to relocate to the Kanto area
4) Necessarily have an experience and ability to teach Essay Writing and correction
5) have a Christian background


[Preferable]
1) Teaching license in foreign countries
2) Teaching experience of more than 10 years in Japan
3) Flexibility and good communication and interpersonal skills are preferred.
4) High-level Japanese proficiency

[Others]
1) It is preferable to have experience in teaching at an International
Baccalaureate (IB) school
2) It is preferable to have taken seminars or training related to the IB
3) It is preferable to have a specialty in teaching other subjects like math,
science, social studies, arts, music and so on...
