International School Teachers (Infants～Kinder) (expired)

A very warm welcome to Abroad International School. We provide an English-based comprehensive education which follows the Cambridge and UK National curriculum at the moment, however, we will start implementing International Baccalaureate Primary Program (Age 3-12) from April 2017. We maintain a low student to teacher ratio allowing for a strong student teacher relationships and a variety of extra-curricular activities.

The Early Learning Centre (ELC) is for children of ages one through five. We recognize all children are entitled to a best start in life and support to achieve their potential. A child’s experience has a vital impact on his/her future life chances, so we do our best to provide them with a safe, happy and secure learning environment.

At the Primary School, we aim to make children confident and independent learners. We provide many opportunities for students to demonstrate what they have learned. Learning at AIS is inquiry-based, where students are encouraged to identify pertinent questions and construct well-informed answers.

Full time position
Location: Osaka (Near to Yotsubashi and Namba stations)
Starting date: April 1st, 2017 or September 1st, 2017
Salary: 250,000 - 300,000 Yen

Preferred qualifications and desirable qualities
-Teaching degree or certificate for Primary. IB PYP teachers will be given priority.
-Childhood education degree is preferred for Early Learning Center.
-Can plan, develop and implement curriculum for Primary School students.
-Two or more years teaching experience is highly preferred.
-Flexible, creative and open-minded personality.
-Must be able to work well within a team.
-Should be well-organized and have a professional manner.
-Teach/Manage after school programs.
