English Language Instructor（到期)

IAC Academy of Language and Overseas Study is currently seeking a native English instructor for a teaching position in Tomigusuku. IAC is an established and growing language school, with locations in Okinawa and Fukuoka. IAC employs a diverse group of foreign and Japanese staff, each of whom play an integral role, and we are looking for qualified and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in Okinawa.

The position starts April 1st, 2020 but we would need successful applicants to be in Okinawa for training by March 15th. Interviews will be held in Okinawa, Fukuoka, Tokyo, Vancouver, B.C. and Victoria B.C. (Canada)

IAC offers a range of classes and curricula catering to both children and adults. The position is full time, with classes being held from Tuesday to Saturday. Preschooler and elementary aged children classes, which make up the majority of this position, focus on facilitating English language learning through activities, games and songs. We request that candidates be versatile and motivated to teach a range of programs and age groups. Above all, applicants must truly enjoy interacting with children.

In addition to the aforementioned qualities, applicants must be native English speakers, preferably with a university degree or eligible to work legally in Japan. IAC will provide visa sponsorship for those who possess a university degree. Preference will be given to those with prior teaching experience. A valid driver’s license and international driving permit is also a valuable asset.
