Kindergarten / Afterschool Teacher（期限切れ）

Takeda English School is looking for Native English speakers to join us, starting as soon as possible, at our renowned institution located in beautiful Kofu, Yamanashi, next to gorgeous mountains and a sports park where you can partake in tennis, track and field, baseball, swimming, and even archery in your spare time! ○We are currently working to fill two positions. Our classes are small, allowing more one-on-one
interactions between teacher and students. Please state your preference in the cover letter of
your application.

•Full-Time Kindergarten + After School
Monday-Friday

•Full-Time After School only
Tuesday-Saturday

○A day at Takeda English School may include:
• Meeting and greeting fellow staff and students, sharing goals for the day,
providing support and advice for each other as needed
• Playing with and engaging children using English in a variety of settings
(for kindergarten, this includes our daily trips to the park during recess!)
• Creating exciting and fun, purposeful lesson plans
• Education Field Trips
• Preparation for Winter and Graduation performances to showcase what the
children have learned.
• Working as a team and communicating to ensure the best possible experience for children
• Supporting school management with the smooth operation and running of the
facilities and school
• Maintaining your work area as well as some school-wide cleaning throughout the year.


○Strong preference will be given to individuals with the following:
• Teaching Experience
• Teaching Certification
• 4-year University Degree
• Currently residing in Japan
• Currently in possession of a valid visa
• A love for singing and working with young children (especially for kindergarten position)
