Toyo Work offers paid training and internship (one month in total), if necessary, so even English speakers new to teaching have a wonderful opportunity to enhance their skills, gain professional experience and get thoroughly prepared for their teaching debut.
Candidates that pass the initial screening will be invited to have 2 to 3 Skype or in-person interviews. Following the decision to hire, teachers will go through a short training (2 days in Tokyo, accommodation sponsored) and an extended training course and internship in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture if required (training necessity is to be defined by the Company on a case-by-case basis).
After the training period, teachers will be assigned to one of the schools that we work with, the majority of which are located in Kanto (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba) area.

Monthly wage 250,000 to 300,000 JPY (based on qualifications/experience and working schedule)
Working Days & Hours：
Monday to Friday, some Saturdays
6-8 hours/day, maximum 160 hours per month (detailed work schedule is to be defined upon a placement decision)
Provided (paid / half of salary during training term if applicable)
Sundays, at least two Saturdays per month, national holidays
In accordance with the assigned school's calendar (Spring, Summer, Winter etc.)
Classroom Description/ Student Age:
Toddlers (3 years old)
Children / Preteens (4-12 years old)
Up to 20 students per class.
1. Teaching English using a designed learning program in an assigned kindergarten. Daily duties include leading 40 minute lessons (up to 5 lessons per day) and participating in other school activities.
2. Substitute teaching when required.

University degree related to Education or English language:
Experience working with younger children is beneficial
English Teaching Certificate (TEFL etc.):
Preferred, but not required for native English speakers

Japanese language skills:
Basic conversational Japanese or above is required.
