Looking for a positive energetic teacher to work in a language school. Mainly children's classes but could have some adult conversation classes. 5 days a week, 40 hour week with up to 22 contact hours. Sunday plus one other day off. 20 paid days holiday a year. We will sponsor a visa and assist with housing.
Classes are between 60-120 min once a week. Age range from kindergarten to high school and possibly a few adult conversation classes. Elementary to High school are textbook-based, kindergarten classes have a basic curriculum. The teacher will be required to sing with the children. Throughout the year there are several events that participation is required, eg: Sports Day, picnic, Cambridge YLEs.
We are a well-established school that has been providing English education for over 80 years. We are looking for someone who truly loves to teach and has a passion for what they do.
The school is in a downtown location. The salary is gross ¥250,000 a month, National health insurance/pension, home to work commuting expenses paid, free gym membership.
We are a non-profit school so some volunteer work is required.
