■Overview
Translation work related to the English website of DLsite
(Japanese to English)

・ Translation of product introduction
・ Translation of products (doujin games, manga, animation etc.)
・ Customer support via email

■Qualifications
・ Regardless of gender, nationality and educational background
・ 18 years old or older
・ An English speaker of Native Proficiency.
・ Fan of Japanese subcultures such as manga, game, anime and light novel

■Status of Residence
- One of the following 'Status of Residence' as defined by the 'Immigration Bureau of JAPAN' as of June 2019.
1. Engineer/ Specialist in Humanities / International Services
2. Permanent Resident
3. Spouse or Child of Japanese National
4. Spouse or Child of Permanent Resident
5. Long Term Resident

Required skills/experience
[Native English speaker]
・ English: native with excellent writing skills
・ Japanese: fluent (JLPT1 or N1 are required)

Ideal skills/experience
・ Experience in creative translation such as manga and games (paid or volunteer)
・ Specific knowledge of doujin and other otaku culture
・ Skill of MS office suite

■Work Condition
Schedule & Holidays
- Work: 5 days/week
- Rest: Saturday, Sunday, Public Holidays

Work hours
10:00 to 18:00 (including 1 hour break)

■Salary
Hourly wage will be 1,600yen ~ 1,800yen, depending on experience.

-Monthly Salary works out to
¥224,000 ~ ¥252,000 (work 7 hours/day, 5 days/week)

Commuting costs fully paid (* with reservations)
