TOCHIGI YMCA is seeking experienced full time English teachers for children and adults. Must be native english speakers. We would prefer a teacher who can stay for at least 2 years.
Successful applicants will be required to teach kids from 18months to high school as well as adult classes. They will need to be able to create fun and active lesson plans for children and plan lessons around a set textbook for adults.
There are also some special events that take place through the year on weekends (usually saturday) and a week during august for summer camp.
One of the position starts from December 2018. Another position starts from April, 2019. Visa and accommodation sponsorship is available. Starting salary 250,000-260,000yen/month. Around 9 weeks paid vacation.
The new teacher will be required to work a Monday-Friday shift.
May also be required to work at a separate location (1hour by train) during the week.
