Nagoya-based marketing company seeks a professional, experienced project coordinator for a full-time, in-house position.
Responsibilities include marketing activities for a major car manufacturer, such as creating marketing tools, planning/operating training events, and making/translating documents.
The successful candidate will work in a Japanese office environment as part of an automotive-related marketing group.

Primary responsibilities
- Handling of internal and external marketing projects for a major Japanese car manufacturer
- Planning and operating product training events (e.g. presentations, training activities, test drives)
- Liaising with both clients and within internal teams to identify needs, priorities, clarify job parameters and develop decisions with clear reasoning
- Working collaboratively with external vendors to ensure the quality of deliverables

Required skills
- Extensive knowledge of the automotive market and modern automotive technology
- Fluent Japanese (reading and listening equivalent to JLPT N2 level or above)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese
- Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office proficiency: Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Time management skills and ability to delegate/share tasks effectively to deliver high quality work in short timeframes
- Willingness to work overtime and travel on business (domestic and international)

Desirable skills, experience, and traits
- 3-5 years of previous experience with project handling including budget control
- Experience of automotive-related work, such as sales and marketing, car magazine editing, or PR event operation
- Experience of car technician or after-sales service work


Salary Description
- 316,000 to 350,000 yen/month dependent on skills and qualifications.
- Social insurance
- Commuting allowance (Up to 100,000 JPY)

Holidays
- 120 days/year
- Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays

Job Contract
- Immediate start desirable
- Contract employee (Initial contract: 6 months. Renewed annually)
- Possible to become a regular employee
