Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

Prepare documentation for international construction tenders funded by the government authorities or financial institutions like JICA, JBIC, ADB, or Word Bank etc.
Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary.
Cost planning, estimation and measurement of quantities.
Manage Contracts administration.
Provide administrative support to the Manager in Tokyo, which is related to tendering works.
Provide administrative support and handle routine and special assignments to support the Manager.
Creates and prepares a variety of documents including expense reports, statistical data, forms, spreadsheets, memos and letters and other documents as needed.
Maintain a proper and user friendly filing and document control system for recording and tracking of all documents for the team and department.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality and security of data while ensuring compliance with the labour law.
Other miscellaneous job duties and special projects as assigned under general supervision.


Education and Qualification :

Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
Minimum 4-5 years’ working experience in construction QS.
Must have prior Mixed Development/Civil/Infrastructure or Marine construction project involvement.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Well-versed in construction contract terminology and FIDIC standard conditions of contract.
Able to stay in overseas for preparation of projects, if necessary.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong computer skills, which includes proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Highly discrete individuals who can handle sensitive and confidential information.
