International preschool teacher in Okinawa (expired)

IAC Academy of Language and Overseas Study is an established and growing language school with locations in Okinawa.

We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our international preschool department.
We are currently looking for teacher to take care of our 4-5 year old class. This is a fully English immersion programme that teaches children physical, intellectual, emotional, and social skills in a fun loving English environment.

Lessons are taught by native English speaking teachers with the assistance of full time bilingual Japanese staff. Focusing on a variety of subjects including arts, mathematics, reading, writing, cultural understanding, music and more, the Kids Academy curriculum is a comprehensive program that promotes English fluency.

In order to ensure that Kids Academy has continued success, IAC requests that instructors be motivated to take an active role in adding to the curricula and show earnest commitment to the progress and welfare of their students. Applicants must be team orientated and friendly, and above all, truly enjoy interacting with children.
Successful candidates must be passionate about teaching young learners, not shy about singing and playing with young children, and above all really love kids.

In addition to the aforementioned qualities, applicants must be native English speakers, preferably with a university degree or eligible to work legally in Japan. Preference will be given to those with prior teaching experience and or teaching certification.
IAC can provide visa sponsorship for those who possess a university degree. Preference will be given to those with prior teaching experience.

Class hours:
9:00 – 18:00 (Mon ~ Fri)
