We are looking for a practical person who will help us push the brand of our growing Chamber, as well as strengthening our firepower in promoting our activities.
As the person in charge for PR and Communication, you will be at the center of the Italian business community in Japan:
- You will be an ambassador for the Chamber before the media and the stakeholders - Members, participants to the events, institutions, consistently conveying ICCJ's core mission, activities and achievements
- You will build and maintain active relationships with journalists, press offices, bloggers and associations related to ICCJ identity and activities
- You will create, supervise or check all written communications for our events, our publications and our promotional materials (website, brochures)
- Under the supervision of the Secretary General, you will help develop a consistent communication strategy for the Chamber
- In collaboration with the Event Manager, you will ensure the right media and stakeholders are engaged in participating, promoting and communicating the event
- In collaboration with the Trade Analyst, you will develop, supervise or check translated support materials for the promotion of Italian clients to Japanese companies
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Native level Japanese with excellent communication skills and ability to use the correct registry for the target audience (Members, institutions, companies, consumers
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Three years of professional experience in PR, institutional communication or press office, including one year of professional experience with social media communication
- Energetic, proactive personality with strong motivation to engage people. Your professional record must show a proven ability to successfully promote events, conferences or other initiatives (contests, concerts, courses etc.)
- Acquaintance with social media and standard office automation tools (Word, Excel, email)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in international work environments
- Ability to cope with ambiguous or changing requirements and to endure stress in short periods of time (two-three weeks)
- Fluency in Italian or in a second European language
