Description

Dean Morgan Academy is the industry leader in education quality, education technology and employee development. Dean Morgan Academy places a top priority on employee training and career development. Our commitment to hiring, retaining, and developing the best people in the industry is reflected in our unique ‘Customer Second’ philosophy.

Dean Morgan Academy has four schools in the Tokyo area located in Shinjuku, Ginza and Ikebukuro. We provide high quality man to man lessons (40 minutes per lesson) to adults in both English and French. Dean Morgan Academy is part of the Dean Morgan Group which also includes the SALA and Hummingbird education brands as well as curriculum development services and language training seminars.

We are currently looking for freelance English instructors who can cover weekday evening (17:30 - 21:30) and weekend (10:00 - 18:00) shifts.

As a freelance instructor you decide the days and times you teach and submit your own teaching schedule online using our Schoolmaster website. Your lesson requests are then managed by our schedulers to optimize your time.

Freelance lessons are paid at a rate of 1600 yen per 40-minute lesson taught from Monday to Saturday and 1800 yen per 40-minutes lesson taught on Sunday.

Our freelance instructors enjoy the flexibility and work-life balance offered by this arrangement by customizing their schedule to fit around other commitments.

For the right freelance candidate there are opportunities to grow with us and advance into a part time or full time role. ‘Customer Second’ enables motivated and dedicated instructors to excel in the classroom, while also having the opportunity to develop their careers in the fields of teaching, IT, curriculum development, design, management or training.
