TESOL International Japan is looking for Assistant Language Teachers (ALTs) who will assist elementary and junior high school students in the English language experience. We are looking for skillful individuals to fill hundreds of teaching posts all over Japan.

Although the school year starts in April, there is also a chance to be considered for a position starting any time this year should the need arise. Even if you are looking to work immediately or cannot be available until after April, you are still welcome to apply.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide fun and effective English lessons
• Assist the main English teacher
• Write lesson plans and lesson reports
• Monitor students’ performance and progress
• Serve as an international cultural ambassador to the students by providing interactive and creative activities as an avenue to communicate in English

WORK SCHEDULE
Mondays-Fridays (8:30am-5:30pm)

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
• Native-level English skills
• Basic Nihongo Skills
• College graduate
• English teaching experience is preferable
• Valid passport
• Education related degrees are preferable
