Description
Experienced primary school teacher needed for highly innovative international school. All of the classes have two teachers of equal status, one for English and one for Japanese, who team teach, using a thematic approach and the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence. On-going professional development is provided.
The school is both dual language (Japanese and English) and multi-age (3 year age-grade range in every class) by design and favors a highly interactive, translanguaging approach to teaching and learning.
It is an ideal position for a creative teacher who can work well with others in a highly collaborative school environment.
Experience with the Scottish curriculum and prior or current experience of Japan would be ideal.
