[業務内容]

- 日本メディアの視点、ニュースサイクル、政策問題の報道方法など、政策メディアのエキスパートとして、顧客への政策提言
- 編集者、ジャーナリスト、記者クラブとの関係の構築
- 他プロジェクトのチームメンバーとしての活動


[募集条件]

- 公共政策または政府関連ビジネスで10年以上の経験
- 上級の日本語および英語能力
- IT能力
- 大学卒以上
- ポジティブかつ柔軟で、協調性があること



GR Japan, Japan’s leading government relations and public affairs company, is looking to recruit a bilingual (Japanese and English) Public Affairs Media Specialist or Policy Communications Specialist to advise clients on relations with media as a policy stakeholder and to act as a media liaison for clients.

We are looking for an individual with related experience and interest in government, media, public policy and politics. Consulting, business or business development experience is also desirable but not essential. Applicants must be able to demonstrate relevant media and policy experience, a high-level of academic achievement and outstanding professional qualities.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Expert in Japanese media and news: What they pick up, news cycle, how to get coverage of policy issues
- Build up relationships with editors, journalists, kisha clubs
- Secondary responsibility as a team member in other projects

Requirements

- 10 years of relevant public policy or business experience
- Fluent English and Japanese
- High level of IT proficiency
- University degree
- Positive “can do” attitude
