Game Producer –Degica

Degica is a fast moving, lean Digital content and distribution company where every team member has a huge stake in the company’s success. We are looking for a Game Producer to be based in our Kichijouji office who will join an already talented and established team. If you are equally adept analytically as with marketing strategy and execution, then Degica may be the perfect environment for you.

As the Game Producer, you will guide a team that is charged with the game product line contribution as a business unit. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing games to developing new games and business for the company. You will source out games existing studios and developers, and help to develop new games and business models based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects.

You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company, in English and as bonus, in Japanese. You will work with the publishing team to define games release requirements. You will also help define the go-to-market strategy, identifying product positioning, key features, and target customers. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your games, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.

What you will do:
• Answer non-Japanese customer inquiries directly.
• Coordinate and liaise between the Japanese and non-Japanese clients
• Lead the localization team to translate games and software into Japanese and English
• Responsible for the quality of the game and functional testing.
• Identify market requirements for current and future games by conducting market research
• Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
• Analyzing potential partner relationships for the game.
• Produce automated programs and processes to enable lead generation programs and nurturing campaigns that drive revenue.
• Launch, manage and track content for educational marketing, online advocacy, social media and community outreach.
• Establish and report on campaign metrics, closed loop reporting and ROI, analyzing impact of programs on sales funnel stages.
• Developing nurturing campaigns, managing data quality and implementing best practices.
• Work to increase website traffic and conversions while ensuring that our resources, blog and videos are SEO and SEM optimized.
• Oversee development of on-brand communications including case studies, collateral, videos, and more.

About you
• 2+ years of experience in developing and managing online marketing campaigns and programs.
• Experience with email or digital marketing would be helpfull.
• Team player with a great attitude and a positive outlook on life (it’s not all about work).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
• Demonstrated strategic approach to content creation.
• Analytic acumen and proven experience measuring effectiveness of marketing programs to drive leads and sales.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and technical aptitude.
• Independent worker, team player, creative idea machine.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Be located in Japan
