Our recruitment concept is

Majority of our students are successful business people, doctors, accountants, and their family members. In order to satisfy our customers, Ecom needs excellent teachers from all over the world.

[Qualifications:Job Requirements]
- ESL experience and Business experience

- Bright Personality, Punctual, Responsible

- Can work approximately 20 hours a week from your home
*Being able to work a set schedule is better.

-TOEFL, IELTS, Eiken, TOEIC test specialist teachers are welcome

-Teachers who can speak Japanese are welcome

-We accept applications from teachers all over the world.

But MUST have good internet connection and reliable PC, NO smart phone or tablet.

(We will NOT hire candidates with a weak Internet connection or who are living in a country with power concerns.)


[Working Hours]
Negotiable
(Preferably weekend (whole day), weekday nights (until 23:00 or 24:00 Japanese time) and mornings (6:00am start JPT))(because most of our students are business people)

However, please note that we are looking for individuals who will keep to their set schedules once it has been decided.(You can choose which hours you would like to work through member's reservation website.)

[Compensation]:Hourly rate
-2,000- 2,300 JPY decided every 3 months, through evaluation.
-16- 20 USD(no residence in Japan)
Aside from above payment, can be given to stable teachers once a year, according to the rules.

Online language classes are becoming more and more popular recently.
However, many schools focus on affordable, low-cost, low-quality services. The image of online lessons has become that of the CHEAP ones. Even in Japan, where we are based, there are now services available as cheap as 1 lesson = 1 dollar.
Cheap service means that teachers agree to work for cheap payment, and as a result, teachers with higher abilities and knowledge will need to settle for lower payment as well. Our school has always been trying to dispel this kind of cheap image of online language lesson services and we would like to keep offering services of high-value.
So we have narrowed our hiring rate to the lowest in the industry (about 1 teacher out of 1000 applicants). Let’s develop with Ecom by providing HIGH QUALITY online language services together!


[Comments]:
With our school, you can teach students one on one from the comfort of your own home using a web-cam and mike. This position is also part-time, which allows you to earn an extra income and experience in addition to your regular work.

Furthermore, we have English speaking staff standing by during lessons to offer support to teachers if they have any questions or concerns; an interactive, highly developed web community that allows you to check and update your schedule, check student information and interact with other teachers, staff and students;

and finally, a variety of textbooks and teaching materials to enhance the quality of your lessons. In addition, we have a 3 month evaluation where our students let you know what they think, providing useful feedback to improve the quality of your lessons and teaching. All our existing teachers are also highly trained, professional and highly skilled.
