Job Description:
As a Senior Banquet Sales Manager, you will be tasked with pro-active sales activities in order to source and develop new MICE & Corporate event business for the Club, and also to maintain and grow relationships with existing key accounts.
Requirements:
• Strong business development and account management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Able to juggle numerous projects and maintain a strong work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• 3 - 5 years experience in similar position.
Your duties and responsibilities in the role will be:
• Develop and grow new relationships to maximize banquet revenue
• Prospect new business, created target lists of new potential accounts and strategically approach to secure their business
• Maintain and manage client relationships
• To undertake sales calls and presentations
• Focus on Japan-based high profile & high revenue potential clients, travel agents and event production companies
• Conduct site inspections, pre & post event meetings and client entertaining as required
