Position Overview:
Minerva Intelligence is accepting applications for English teachers to teach children in the Tokai Area.

Compensation/ Work Schedule:
・Compensation: 2,000-2,500 yen/ hour
・Transportation will be covered additionally
・Location: Minerva's Schools in Oubu-city, Aichi Prefecture
・Work Hours: Saturday lessons will start and finish between 9:30 AM- 8:00 PM
・Work Days: Saturday *Accepting applications from 1 day/ week

Job Description:
・Deliver 50-60 minute group lessons (maximum of 8 students/ class)
・Prepare for the lessons. (Set up the classroom, going through the lesson plan...etc)
・Work together with school staff to provide high quality lessons and customer service
・Deliver special lessons and participate in seasonal events
・You will receive curriculum/lesson plans for your lessons
・All lesson related materials will be ready for use at each school location

Minerva is looking for candidates who meet these expectations and are:

・Comfortable using a range of techniques, games, and activities to engage students
・Able to lead active play with young children for extended amounts of time
・Polite, flexible, and willing to adjust to different classroom teachers' styles
・Able to communicate to management the need for help or support
・are culturally sensitive, professional, and have excellent communication skills
・are interested in and passionate about teaching children (mainly 1-12 year old students)
・can easily build rapport with young students and their families
