Oide Japan is anticipating rapid growth in the near future, and is looking for an experienced web application developer to join our (currently small) team of dedicated professionals in Tokyo. You will have the opportunity to join us as a core founding member, and to help launch several exciting new products.


Responsibilities:
- Back-end web application development, testing, and deployment
- Provide internal assistance for systems management


Opportunities:
- Participate in and direct future product development
- Implement additional functionality based on user feedback
- Advance to senior level and management position within a short term

Things we like to see:
- 2+ years experience with focus on back-end dev
- Enterprise-level environments
- Design review, code review, TDD/BDD
- MVC (RoR, Laravel, Node.js, etc.)
- Postgres
- git
- Some front-end (gulp, Susy, Ember, etc.) is a plus
- Server provisioning (AWS) is a plus
- Japanese proficiency is not required, but conversational Japanese is a plus

- Must currently reside in Japan
- Must currently live in or be willing to relocate to Tokyo
