AICJ Junior and Senior High School is a privately-funded IB World School accommodating approximately 670 students. In the junior high school we utilize a tailor-made curriculum satisfying the Japanese Ministry of Education’s requirements with a number of the courses in grades 7-9 taught in English in an immersion English environment. Math, music, science, physical education and English are taught by both foreign and Japanese teachers in junior high school. In high school, we operate a dual pathway system whereby students select either the domestic course to prepare for entry into Japanese universities or the internationally recognized IB Diploma Programme. Typically, students who aspire to attend overseas universities select the IB Diploma course.
