Children's Eikaiwa Teacher (expired)

S-link is seeking a teacher for a Children’s Eikaiwa class in Ota-ku. The school is located near Omori Station and includes 3 lessons per day Monday to Thursday. The lessons include Children ages between 5 and 10 years old. The lessons are conversation lessons using standard textbooks and materials.

The teacher will be responsible for planning the lessons based on a standard format with standard materials. Typically planning requires the teacher to choose activities suitable for the age group of students who will join the class. In addition to lesson planning the teacher will have to do some basic paperwork and keep the classroom tidy.

The working days are Monday to Thursday from 15:00 to 18:30. The salary will be 12,000 yen per day plus travel costs. Teachers who do well in the initial month of classes will be offered a full time contract for 250,000 yen per month in addition to travel costs. Full time employees will be enrolled in the social welfare system as a full time staff member.

We are seeking teachers with experience teaching this age group in Japan as well as those with basic Japanese language ability. A university degree is also required to secure this position. This position will be starting soon so only those who hold a valid working visa can apply.
