Main purpose of job : The jobholder will help assist in the catering service provided by Harbour View GK at Yokohama International School Cafeteria.

Main roles and responsibilities : General kitchen duties and assisting with front of house

Essential Qualifications :
Experience of working in both English and Japanese speaking environments.
Reliable & honest.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to produce healthy, appealing food safely.
Excellent personal hygiene.
Conversation ability level in English.

Desirable qualifications and experience :
Previous catering experience,
Experience of working with children,
Live locally.

Working hours per week : 30 - 35 hrs

Starting hourly salary : (JPY) Min 1,000

Start date : As soon as possible.

Conditions of employment inc benefits :

The job is being offered on a Part Time contract, and is subject to a probationary period of 6 months.

1 Employee reference and 1 Character reference will be required before employment commences.

A clean criminal record is mandatory.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, generally 0700-13:00 with flexible working opportunities and occasional out of hours working required;

Commuting allowance of up to JPY 14,000 per month (paid on an actual cost basis);

Paid annual leave (calculated pro rata);

No accommodation or relocation expenses are payable in connection with this position.

The applicant must have work authorisation for Japan.
