Part-Time Native English Instructors for Aug/Sept - Osaka YMCA (expired)

The Osaka YMCA Language Center is looking for experienced and enthusiastic English language teachers to work part-time on our Children's and Adult's Programs. Please clearly specify the number or numbers of the class or classes you are interested in when you apply.

Requirements:

Candidates must...
be native speakers of English;
have a Bachelor's degree or higher;
have at least two years experience in English language teaching;
be available to work until at least the end of March 2017;
be flexible, professional and a team player.


Children's Program Classes:

Class 1
Class: WIKP Explorers 4 (W)
Description: Mixed-age group (elementary school grades 3-5). Beginners to high beginners.
Class size: Maximum 12 students
Time: Wednesdays 16:20-19:00 (140 minutes; five teaching periods with two 10-minute breaks)
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tennoji
Pay: 9800 yen per day (plus transportation)
Work starts: September 2017

Class 2
Class: WIKP Trailblazers 3 (F)
Description: Mixed-age group (elementary school grades 4-6). Pre-intermediate returnees.
Class size: Maximum 12 students
Time: Fridays 16:50-19:30 (140 minutes; five teaching periods with two 10-minute breaks)
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tennoji
Pay: 9800 yen per day (plus transportation)
Work starts: September 2017

Class 3
Class: IKP Trailblazers (S)
Description: Mixed-age group (elementary school grades 4-6). Intermediate to upper-intermediate returnees.
Class size: Maximum 12 students
Time: Saturdays 9:30-14:50 (225 minutes; five teaching periods with three 10-minute breaks and 65-minute lunch break)
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tennoji
Pay: 16,000 yen per day (plus transportation)
Work starts: September 2017

Class 4
Class: ARC
Description: Mixed-age group (junior high grades 1-3, high school grades 1-3). Upper-Intermediate to advanced returnees.
Class size: Maximum 15 students
Time: Saturdays 15:15-17:45 (140 minutes; two teaching periods with 10-minute break)
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tennoji
Pay: 9,800 yen per day (plus transportation)
Work starts: September 2017


Class 5
Class: Dispatch kindergarten class
Description: Mixed-age group; 3- to 5-year-olds.
Class size: Approx. 30 students per class.
Time: Mondays and Tuesdays 10:00-11:50 (three 30-minute lessons per day)
Location: Kindergarten near Koshienguchi station (JR Tokaido Line).
Pay: 6300 yen per day (plus transportation)
Work starts: September 2017 (Lessons will take place on 14-15 weeks during the September to March period (i.e. not every week).)


Adult's Program Classes:

Class 6
Class: Business Basic
Description: Business English. Pre-Intermediate level.
Class size: Maximum 8 students
Time: Thursdays 19:15-21:00 (one 100-minute lesson)
Location: Osaka YMCA Language Center Tosabori
Pay: 7000 yen per lesson (plus transportation)
Work starts: September 2017

Class 7
Class: Dispatch company class
Description: Business English. Beginner to pre-intermediate level.
Class size: 2-5 students per class
Time: Tuesdays and Wednesdays 17:30-19:15 (two 50-minute lessons per day)
Location: Company offices near Tanimachi-4-chome station (Tanimachi subway line).
Pay: 3500 yen per 50-minute lesson (plus transportation)
