ZONO International School is a Preschool/Kindergarten in Yamashina, Kyoto.

ZONO International School provides a comprehensive, active learning environment that challenges students and supports all areas of development. Our students range from ages one to six. We believe in nurturing English literacy and fluency through various subjects such as English, math, science, and social studies. We want a bright, energetic, and hardworking teacher who has a passion for teaching children.

Requirements:
Native English Level
Bachelor’s Degree (equiv. or higher)

Preferred Skills and Personality:

1.　Honest and have good morals.
2.　Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in international school setting or kindergarten.
3.　Experience of home room teacher, curriculum design for kindergarten and lower primary grades.
4.　Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
5.　Professional, punctual, responsible, flexible and reliable.
6.　Basic Computer knowledge (Internet, email, MS Office, how to use a projector, etc.)
7. Willing to do daycare activities such as (changing diapers, helping to change clothes, clean, etc.)
8. Is a team player and works well with others.

Priorities will be given to people with experience but it is not necessary.

Description of the job...

Mon-Fri 9:00am-6pm
-There will be a meeting every first Saturdays of each month
-School Events through out the year. There will a be a day off the next day after each event

・Teach, guide, dance, and do crafts with young children in line with the school’s program
・Work as a team and at times with an assistant teacher
・Guide and play with children while ensuring their safety
・Teach students rules and standards that the school has set out for them and follow up on them
・Creating and preparing monthly and yearly schedules for lesson plans
・Greet parents and maintain a professional relationship between them

School events...

・The school supports a few festivals such as these. Strawberry picking, Sports Festival, Summer Camp, Halloween, Christmas, etc.
・Some school events may fall on a weekend and we require teachers to participate in all of them.

Salary:

JPY 180,000〜250,000

(full time position, part time position is available)
(negotiable with performance and experience)
