Our Tokyo campus has been in operation since 2009. We work with students between the ages of 2yrs-10yrs currently.

We are a thematic-based international school (we focus on every area of the learning process, including Japan and International culture). Through our system of learning, students gradually gain a strong understanding of the English language - from the very basics to near-fluent abilities; it is an environment we are so proud of. Our Principal is also one of the members in the teaching team - he is a very innovative and passionate teacher and someone we have all gained knowledge from. Hello Kids also maintains a special relationship with Cambridge Learning (pertaining to our Elementary classes). In combination with our internal curriculum, elements of what we teach tie in beautifully with the Cambridge Learning system allowing our students to take part in these internationally accredited Cambridge YLE exams each year held right from our school! (We are 1 of 3 schools in Tokyo that have been approved to offer this test on-site.)

Compensation:
1a. Starting right away, your salary would range from between 260-265,000 per month plus transportation under a 2-year contract. Salary to increase after end of first year with us. Bonus provided at the end of the 2-year contract ranging between 50,000-75,000yen.
1b. Benefits: Within our 1-year school calendar, 26-29 days will be off, but paid. These include Christmas break, our summer and golden week breaks as well as periodic holidays in-between.

Your hours would be:
Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm (or Tuesday to Saturday, but Saturday`s would be a shorter day. We can also alternate this schedule weekly)

Your requirements:
You would be responsible for creating your own lesson plan each day based on our curriculum. Each lesson plan should be focused on our day-theme and include 3-4 worksheets, a craft as well as supporting-fresh and innovative activities. As we are a thematic-based school, the focus on 1 theme per day truly allows our students to learn at a steady and progressive rate, building their inner confidence and self-esteem along the way. You would instruct a group of students ranging in age from 1.5-7 years old. The maximum number of students in your group wouldn't exceed 5/6 as well. You would get to know your students, their personalities and weaknesses each week and assist them to become their very best.
