Experienced Nursery School Teacher（到期)

GG International School is currently looking for a nursery program teacher to start ASAP. Start dates are negotiable. This position could be part-time or full-time depending on the candidate and the levels of experience and professionalism.


GG International School is a family-owned and operated school located in the heart of Tokyo in the Meguro-Shinagawa area. We offer full-day nursery and kindergarten programs, as well as an afterschool program. The school’s curriculum is based on an art to science progression and offers teachers considerable control over their classrooms. All programs are designed to encourage an emerging sense of self, while nurturing intellectual growth, exploration, and socialization in a safe, supportive environment for children ages six months to 12 years.


【Nursery Teacher position】

Requirements:

・2+ years of experience caring for infants between 0 and 2 years old or
・2+ years of experience teaching young learners between 3 and 6 years old

・Native or fluent English speaker

・Teach all subjects using an in-house art to science curriculum
・Effective communication with co-workers and parents
・Work well independently and as a team

・Nursery / teaching license / certification (preferable)


Conditions:

Monday to Friday, 8 hr shift + 1 hr break, between 8:00 to 19:00 depending on shift.

Full time: 250,000 - 300,000 yen / month (depending on experience)
(*Insurance, national pension, commuting expense are covered. 10 days paid leave after probation period. National holidays. Overtime hours will be paid separately. Visa renewal. Bonus may be paid depending on performance and finance of the company)
B. Part time: 1,500 yen ~ / hour

(*Commuting expense are covered)

Depending on staffing needs, may be asked to assist the kindergarten program, cover shifts

Student/teacher ratio is 3/1 for infants, 6/1 for toddlers
