Full-time English Teacher（到期)

English Splash has been operating an english schools in Sapporo for 20 years. Our aim is to help children develop the ability to communicate in English and get used to foreigners and diverse societies other than Japan. Splash students range from toddlers to elementary and junior high school students. Your will be required to teach basic English conversation using various activities. In addition to basic language instruction, we also value the all round development of children and so our Education Program also offers classes on cross-cultural understanding, art, programming, and more. Teachers need to enjoy being with children children, resonate with them and find creative ways to bring out their best .

In terms of staff, we are looking for

1) People who want to achieve self improvement through work and enjoy communicating with others .

2) people who enjoy creating lessons plans for classes.

3) Active people who take pride in their work and their students’ progress and achievements.

We have two schools in the nearby and trendy locations of Asahigaoka and Maruyama.

The job will start at the beginning of March 2021 at the latest and the first month of employment will be a training period, during which the trainee teacher will be mainly observing lessons. During this poeriod the trainee teacher will be paid 900Yen/hour.

Work Content
Create lesson plans based on English Splash curriculum.
Preparation of teaching materials for lesson.
Write student evaluations and progress reports for parents.
Participate with a positive attitude in all special events.
Provide a warm and caring attitude in the classroom.
Work Conditions
5 day work week
120day holiday ( in case of year 2020)
2 weeks paid holidays available (dates to be decided)

Transportation allowance up to ¥11000 per month
Bonus is given at the end of year
Work Insurance covered
40 hours a week

Preference for experienced teacher and/or holding teaching license
