Our Eastern Kanto Language Centers (LCs) service a wide variety of clientele including adults, teens, and young learners, but mostly business professionals. Berlitz Japan is looking for a diverse group of native (or native fluent) English speakers to deliver primarily business English lessons to these clients.
Our LC locations are not only in the central business district of Nihombashi, Yurakucho, Roppongi, Hamamatsucho, Ueno, but also in Chiba Prefecture in such locations as Chiba, Ichikawa and Kashiwa. Each Language Center is conveniently located by a major station for easy access to the LC, and also the heart of the nation with all the excitement that it offers.
Berlitz Japan is accepting applications from applicants already in Japan for Full Time Instructor (FTI) and Part Time Guarantee positions for these locations. For contract details, see this page.
Successful applicants will teach adults, teens, and young learners in our Language Centers or at client sites. All teaching materials are provided.
We are seeking instructors for our international team who
* are native (or native fluent) English speakers
* are dynamic, mature and professional
* are culturally sensitive and have excellent organizational and communication skills
* are looking to work for a minimum of one year
* have a minimum of BA or BS degree
* are interested in teaching adults, teens
Visa Requirements and Interviews:
Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified applicants and positions after successfully passing the in-person interviews.
Instructor Qualification Program (IQP) will be held at the Berlitz Japan Headquarters in Aoyama, Tokyo.
All potential employees must be able to attend in full an IQP sessions held either from:
October 07 to October 11
November 11 to November 15
We also have a special weekend IQP for individuals working in other industries that would like to work for Berlitz in a part time capacity. The weekend IQP dates are:
October 12, 13 & 19, 20 (four days total).
