Teaching Opportunity at the Minamichita Town Board of Education
Aichi, Japan
Position: Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) for the Minamichita Town Board of Education(Junior High School)
The Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) position is an excellent opportunity for an individual wishing to have the chance to experience Japanese culture and work at the same time.
We are looking for individuals who are organized, responsible ,and have excellent communication skills, and will be able to start in April 2020. Applicants must be a native speaker of English from the US, the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, possess a BA/BS degree, should also be currently residing in Japan. ALT and teaching experience is preferred.
Details of ALT Position:
・ Contract : April, 2020 - March, 2021
・ Working Day : 60 days in the school year
・ Hours of Work: 8:30~15:30, weekdays
・ Daily Pay: 10,000 yen～12,000 yen + Transportation fee
・ Medical check-up required, including lung X-ray
ALT Duties:
・ Responsible for aiding Japanese teachers in creating and implementing
English conversation curricula and training programs throughout schools
・ Other responsibilities may include assisting with office or administrative duties
specified by the Board of Education.
