About Inagawa town:
Inagawa town is a town located in southeastern part of Hyogo Prefecture and has an estimated population of 31,381.
Approximately 80% of the town is covered in a prefectural natural park, allowing ample opportunities for getting closer to nature. In southern part of Inagawa, there are three large new towns, the Hankyu-Nissei Newtown, Inagawa Parktown, and Tsutsujigaoka and are located on the centre of Inagawa. Inagawa is a commuter’s town of Osaka or Kobe.
About the position:
The placement will be in elementary school in Inagawa Town, Hyogo Prefecture where the ALT will assist as a team teacher and help plan English lessons under a schedule created by GLAD and the Board of Education. As well as teaching English lessons, you may also be asked to participate in other school activities such as clubs, cleaning the school, and cultural festivals.
Contract term:
April 2020 – March 2021
Benefits
・Transportation costs will be covered at a certain rate per month (car and travel expenses included)
・Days off include weekends, national holidays, and other holidays set on the Board of Education's school calendar

Conditions
・Monthly base compensation: From ¥230,000 per month (It will be decided after some interviews)
・Working hours: Monday through Friday (8:15 AM to 4:45 PM)
・Placement: Elementary school in Inagawa Town
Qualification
・Native Speaker of English
・Holder of a university Bachelor's degree (or higher)
・Holder of a valid visa status that allows work in Japan (visa sponsorship/renewal available)
・Holder of a Japanese driver's license or international driving permit is an asset.
・Able to speak conversational Japanese: communication is crucial for planning and creating lessons with Japanese teachers of English. We also highly suggest that teachers be able to be involved with the communities here.
