Description

Yaruki Switch Group is currently looking for energetic and dedicated Native English teachers for our Kids Duo schools in Aichi Prefecture!

Located in central Chubu, the heart of mainland Japan, Aichi is one of the largest economic and industrial hubs in the country. It is home to manufacturing giant Toyota - whose influence on the area is so strong that the headquarters’ encompassing town was renamed after the company - as well as regional branches of such mega-corporations as Fuji, Mitsubishi, and Sony. Thanks to these companies’ largely multicultural workforce, the region offers a rich tapestry of ethnic diversity; more-so than other regions of Japan. There is a large Brazilian and South American presence, and its capital city Nagoya is famous for its ‘Taiwan Ramen’ and ‘Ankake Spaghetti’ - culinary fusions that are distinctly unique from their respective source countries’ cuisines. This is not to say that Aichi is lacking in traditional Japanese fare, however; regional delicacies such as its Miso-Katsu or crispy Nagoya-style Tebasaki are known nation-wide as a must try for visitors to the area.
Aichi also offers a variety of culturally rich and historically significant sites as well, such as Japan’s oldest original surviving castle, Inuyama-jō. It is also the birthplace of Japan’s three most famous Sengoku-era heroes – Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu. So whether you choose to indulge yourself in the region’s rich history, culture, and cuisine, or decide to explore the more modern technical and industrial wonders of Japan’s manufacturing powerhouse, Aichi is the perfect place to experience everything new and old Japan has to offer!

The Kids Duo Method
Kids Duo represents a fresh new approach to the language learning process, focusing on creating a solid foundation of enthusiasm and self-confidence in speaking via interactive games and activities. Our motto is “Play in English, Learn in English,” and with this mentality in mind we strive to create a fun, safe, and comfortable environment in which our students learn usable, real life English – often without even realizing it!
As a Native English Teacher, you are the centerpiece of a Kids Duo school. Kids Duo teachers work with their school's Japanese Bilingual staff, administrative staff, and other Kids Duo teacher to coordinate and conduct fun and interactive lessons in which students can practice speaking and interacting in a 100% English environment. While Kids Duo has a set curriculum, teachers are actively encouraged to grow and expand on these foundations to create truly unique and personalized lessons; allowing ample creative freedom to inject passion and enthusiasm into your class.
