UP Inc. is a well-established education brand in the Kansai district. We are currently expanding our English programs in new and exciting ways.

Do you have a passion you want to share? We can give you that opportunity. We are looking for full-time or part-time native or near-native English instructors who want to do more with English teaching in a classroom environment and/or a studio without tables and chairs. We are looking for people to create and teach their lessons in various branches of our company based on the following list:


1. English Teacher
 Kindergarten to Elementary
 Junior high school to High school
 Adults

2. English Teacher with the following experience
 Experience teaching based on CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning)
 Experience teaching arts – handcraft, illustration, painting, paper art, music, singing, dance, musical instruments, cooking
 Experience teaching Minecraft, eSports
 Has an English teaching license or degree for teaching at Junior high/High school/University
 TESOL graduate, TEFL certificates, Celta/Delta
 etc

3. Physical Fitness
 Yoga
 Pilates
 Gymnastics
 Dance
 Martial Arts
 etc

4. Art
 Master of arts
 Teaching art (curriculum-making experience is a plus)
 Casting
 Mapping

5. Minecraft, eSports
 Experience with Minecraft and eSports at a competitive level
 Teaching Minecraft and eSports (curriculum-making experience is a plus)
 Casting
 Mapping

COMPENSATION
• SALARY
- 280,000 yen monthly (initial 2-month training period will be an hourly rate)
- Part-time will be an hourly rate
• TRANSPORTATION
- Reimbursed
• SOCIAL INSURANCE
- Provided

CONTRACT
- 1-year(+) contract with renewal and long-term extension opportunities as well as salary increase opportunities based on performance.
- Part-time may be available depending on circumstances

WORKING CONDITIONS
• LOCATION
- Various locations in Kansai district.
• WORK SCHEDULE
- 5 days a week from Monday through Sunday
- 7 hours a day between the hours of 8:30-22:00
- 35 hours a week (30 working hours & a 60-minute break each day)
• YEARLY SCHEDULE & HOLIDAYS
- 120 scheduled days off
- 10 paid vacation days after 6 months (with over 80% attendance)
- Time off during Golden Week, summer and New Year’s
- Should be flexible, especially during Japanese school vacation periods
- Company outings for employees only (dinners, camps, trips; no students)

DUTIES
- Teach English one to one or up to 30 students at a time depending on age, program & level
- Help to plan and develop English teaching materials
- Plan, prepare, and carry out seasonal events (Summer/Halloween/Christmas/etc.)
- Conduct English language training for Japanese staff

REQUIREMENTS
- Native or near-native English speaker
- Within reasonable commuting distance
- Valid working visa (sponsorship available, applicants must meet immigration requirements)

PREFERRED
- Kindergarten experience
- Special skills that you can contribute to our English programs (the same or similar to as stated above)
- Celta/Delta, TESOL, TEFL certificates
- Phonics
- Academic writing skills
- Debate/presentation
- Computer savvy
