GG International School is looking for an experienced nursery teacher to start by October 2020 or sooner to fill a vacancy left by a teacher returning home. We are an international school located off the Yamanote Line in the Meguro-Shinagawa area. We offer full-day nursery and kindergarten programs, as well as an afterschool program, to accommodate our families` needs. All programs are designed to nurture socialization, exploration and intellectual growth in a safe and supportive environment for children ages six months to 12 years.
This position could be part-time until spring or full-time depending on the candidate and the levels of experience and professionalism.
Requirements:
・2+ years (negotiable) of experience caring for infants between 0 and 2 years old, or
・2+ years (negotiable) of experience teaching young learners between 3 and 6 years old
・Friendly
・Effectively communicate with teammates and parents
・Work well in a team, as well as independently
・Self-motivated
Conditions:
・Monday to Friday, 8 hr shift + 1 hr break; 8:00 to 17:00, 9:00 to 18:00, 10:00 to 19:00 depending on staffing
・Open floor plan school, working with a 4-6 member nursery team
・Lesson planning as a team with creative control over your lessons and students
・Friendly parents
・Approximately 4-10 school events per year
Depending on experience:
Full time: 250,000 – 300,000 yen/month, negotiable for right candidate
・Insurance, national pension, commuting expense covered
・Overtime paid
・Bonus may be paid depending on job performance and finances of the company
Part time: 1,500 yen ~ /hour, negotiable for right candidate
・Commuting expense covered
