Requirements:
・For candidates in Japan only (working visa, spouse visa/permanent resident)
・Japanese level: At least N4 level, conversational (not basic)
・Experience with teaching kindergarten and elementary school children
・An honest passion for working and interacting with children
・A good singer, as there are many songs in lessons
・A strong sense of responsibility
・An outgoing personality

Compensation:
Monthly wage ¥240,000 ~ ¥260,000 (based experience with Grapeseed Curriculum)
Transportation allowance up to 30.000 JPY
Health Insurance and Pension, Unemployment Insurance provided

Working Days & Hours：
Monday to Friday, some Saturdays (These Saturdays are usually for school events, and may be made-up another day, or extra pay will entail).
The daily work schedule is 8:30-17:30 with a 1-hour break.

Start Date：
The middle of February to the beginning of March.

Nearest Station: Shioya Station (塩屋駅) (15 min walk)

Probation Period：
2 months

Position Details:
Teaching English using a designed learning program (GrapeSeed) in an assigned kindergarten. Daily duties include leading GrapeSeed lessons and participating in other school activities. As part of the teaching staff at the school, the position requires not only teaching English classes, but also interacting and caring for the kids outside of lessons, as well as assisting other teachers with events and other classes. Substitute teaching is also done when required.

Classroom Description/ Student Age:
Toddlers (3 years old)
Children / Preteens (4-12 years old)
Up to 20 students per class.

Paid Holidays：
Usually Saturday and Sunday, public holidays, ten days of flexible leave, and in accordance with the assigned school's calendar: Spring, Summer, Winter holidays.

Recruitment process:
Candidates that pass the initial screening will be invited to have 2 to 3 Skype interviews. Following the decision to hire, teachers will go through a short training and an extended training course if required. After the training period, the teacher will be assigned to the kindergarten which is located in Kobe city. The training period is fully paid.
