Experienced Kindergarten/Afterschool Teacher（到期)

GG International School is currently looking for experienced afterschool program and kindergarten program assistant teachers (bus duties may be included depending on the campus and program) to start ASAP. Start dates are negotiable but sooner the better.

We are a family-owned and operated registered nursery school located in the Meguro-Shinagawa area. We offer full-day nursery and kindergarten programs, as well as an afterschool program. The school’s curriculum is based on an art to science progression and empowers teachers to be owners of their classrooms. All programs are designed to encourage emergent self-awareness while nurturing exploration, critical thinking, and socialization in a safe and supportive environment for children ages six months to 12 years.

【Afterschool Assistant Teacher position】
Requirements:
・Native or fluent English speaker
・Effective communication with co-workers and parents
・Work well independently and as a team

Ideal:
・Friendly and family-oriented
・Strong project management skills
・Creative lesson planning
・Dedicated and willing to learn
・Japanese speaking/writing ability
・Teaching license/certification
・2+ years of experience teaching young learners between 3 and 5 years old or
・2+ years of experience teaching young learners between 6 and 12 years old
・Teach language arts, arts & crafts, science and social studies
・Organize and host seasonal programs such as spring school, summer school, speech contest, etc.


Conditions:
Monday to Friday, core hours between 13:00 - 19:00
30 - 40 hours / week
Depending on staffing needs, may be asked to assist the kindergarten / nursery programs, cover shifts

【Kindergarten Assistant Teacher position】

・Classroom management experience
・Dedicated and willing to learn
・2+ years of experience teaching young learners between 3 and 5 years old or
・2+ years of experience teaching young learners between 6 and 12 years old

Monday to Friday, core hours between 10:00 - 16:00
30 - 40 hours / week
